ITU Professor Roman Beck, who also leads the newly founded European Blockchain Center, has secured a small grant of 88.000 Danish kroner from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark. The grant will fund a two-day workshop of researchers from Danish universities and research institutions as well as researchers from the German-speaking countries, in collaboration with industry. The planned workshop aims for creating a blockchain research and education roadmap and prioritized agenda for the international scientific community concerned with investigating the new set of research challenges that emerge in the context of blockchain developments, in particular in the financial services industry. The workshop will be held in Frankfurt later this year.
The second Blockchain Summer School started this morning. During the week, 70+ participants will learn everything they need to know about this groundbreaking technology. On Friday, the summer school will conclude with the Nordic Blockchain Summit – 340 attendees already registered. Watch a video of last year’s summer school below.
